The day before Nana and Bumpa arrived (10/6), Christian and I went to the hospital for Connor's one month check up. There we learned that he was 4.75kg and 57cm long! (that is 10.47lbs and 22.44inches).
Right around this time his 0-3 month outfits were getting small on him, especially lengthwise so we started retiring some of his outfits.
While Nancy and Bob (Nana and Bumpa to little Connor) were here we spent a lot of time hanging out at the apartment... Connor really enjoyed being held by Nana.

These two photos were taken the first time Kim was away Connor. She went to New Campus for a few hours to judge an English Speech Competition with Christian.

Usually, Connor only gets to hear Christian and I sing to him, but during their visit, he got exposed to two more singing voices! Here's a couple of shots of Nana and Bumpa singing to Connor after a bath.

Of course we didn't just hang out at the apartment all week long...
We went on walks around campus, shopped and ate out. There was a lot of walking, but it was great to show off the city and some of how we live in China. It's really impossible to explain what it's like to live in China. Though we can describe a lot, there are many things that must be experienced in order to understand what it is like to live here...

This is my absolute favorite photo from the week.

Bob and Christian tried on the same coat.
I really can't explain it, but Christian reminds me
of Paul McCartney in this photo... (10/13) |

And now for some miscellaneous fun photos from the week...
