After 6 days in the hospital we were able to take Connor home! Our colleague, Angie, was kind enough to offer us a ride from the hospital to our apartment building saving me from having to do a 25 minutes (when 9 months pregnant) walk home.

Not long after arriving home Christian had to stop and change Connor's diaper.
This photo marks the first of several (hundred) diaper changes.
Note: Sadly, Christian doesn't always look this happy and excited when changing a dirty diaper.
A few days after arriving home, we took Connor on his first walk around campus and the neighborhood. We were out for a little over an hour, and aside for a short 15 minute break to eat, Connor slept.

This is probably the only time in Connor's life that Yoda will be able to tower over him. Poor short, green, ol' jedi master. Oh well, Connor will be growing up in the era of Disney's interpretation of Star Wars, so maybe Yoda will grow a little taller, whiter, and younger? ;)
DeleteWhat a great update, you guys! Connor continues to maintain his cuteness. It's hard to believe he is already 2 months old. Be sure to coo him in Chinese everyday to produce that bilingual baby. Wonderful photos; now we're due a 2-month update soon, right?

Haha, yes you're all due a 2 month update! We're so far behind on blogging.... we'll be doing his 12th birthday party update when he's 30.
